The Make A Wish Foundation in Singapore recently granted Chelsea’s wish to be able to go swimming in a pool again. What is simple for most people is an enormous undertaking when you are a quadriplegic with a tracheostomy.
It was the most magical day for Chelsea, for our family and for everyone who came to share the experience with her.
The Make A Wish Foundation grants wishes for children with life threatening medical conditions which can often involve meeting superstars or world leaders and sometimes is as simple as being able to swim in a pool. Chelsea’s wish was made possible by the generosity of people who donated their time, talent, facilities and expertise and our family is forever grateful to all of the people who were involved.
You can help by donating to your local Make A Wish charity or by volunteering your time or expertise and in doing so you will make it possible for another child to have their wish come true.
You wont regret it.
