My brothers on his way to Japan…

My brother called today – he’s on his way to Japan with 1.8 million barrels of Saudi best light crude oil. It takes a while for a huge super tanker to get there but they will in a few days and then turn around go back and pick up some more and then go back again. He thinks he might do this run a lot over the next few weeks. We tried to work out how long 1.8 million barrels will  last and sadly it is only half a day but I feel like he is helping and that makes me proud.

It’s been a couple of weeks but Japan still needs so much help and support to control , contain and recover. Try and do what you can.

If you know the story of the Thousand Origami Cranes (千羽鶴, Senbazuru?) you’ll know that the Japanese believe in the power of collective prayers and good wishes – it worked for Chelsea, we had cranes all around her bed in the ICU and we still have the cranes at home protecting her. The wonderful kids at SAS made them for her and I think they helped. I think prayers always do.

If you don’t know the story or don’t know how to make the cranes click on the link.

Take care brother and God Bless You X
